About Marc
My name is Marc, and I'm 21 years old. I'm currently studying Business Administration while also building a global business with clients ranging from the USA to Australia. But let's start from the beginning. I grew up in Dortmund, Germany, where I lived until my 10th birthday and attended school. Upon entering high school, we moved to Krefeld, a City one hour away from Dortmund. While many look back fondly on their school days, I was quite relieved to have barely passed my final exams in 2022. The only subjects I truly good in were Art, PE, and our student-run business, indicating that I could either become a lifelong art student or venture into entrepreneurship. After my graduation, I spent three months traveling from New York to Miami, and from Dubai to Singapore, then on to Thailand and finally Japan. I can confidently say this journey was transformative, offering me more learning than three years of school. As the saying goes, "Travel is the best university," a sentiment I can now affirm. These trips not only expanded my understanding of what can be achieved globally, but also made me appreciate what I had taken for granted, which unfortunately is not the reality for many. Following my travels, I began my studies in International Marketing and soon after, started my first company with a friend where we sold personalized coffee to public figures and businesses. Simultaneously, I worked part-time in a hotel, as a startup isn't profitable in its initial months or even years. After a big setback in the coffee project, I shifted my focus to the proptech sector. For those unfamiliar, proptech is an area within the startup scene that focuses on innovative ideas in the real estate domain. As pressure from my parents increased to start earning a steady income, knowing my current project wouldn't be profitable for another 2-3 years and not wanting to return to the hotel work, I had to quickly devise a new plan. During my travels, I realized I didn't necessarily want to reside in Germany forever and began exploring business opportunities that would allow me to work from anywhere. Those familiar with the subject know that such opportunities exist in e-commerce. Eventually, I discovered a business model that now allows me to have clients worldwide and collaborate with people who share similar life visions.
